Position: NDE Inspector Barge 1
Location: Qatar Offshore
Requirements:
• Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or B.Sc. in Physics or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience.
• ASNT or PCN Level III /II in RT /UT or equivalent as per EN 473 / ISO 9712. Experience with RTR & PAUT would be an added advantage.
• Prior experience with working on clad (UNS N08825 and UNS N06625) pipeline project and with interpreting intermediate radiographs.
• Offshore Certifications (such as: BOSIET, OPITO H2S) and shall be medically fit for offshore work.
• Must be capable of forcefully communicating Quality requirements, results and status throughout Company and contractor management and craft labor levels.
• Shall possess sound knowledge on welding processes and configuration of welds.
• Good knowledge of the weldability of clad pipes.
• Well conversant with international codes and standards and different radiography exposure techniques, film types
• Strong preference given to candidates with prior Qatargas or Qatargas shareholder project experiences.
