Job summary/Role description

The Project relates to the implementation on an EPC lump-sum basis of the New Units of Modernization and Reconstruction works for the Heydar Aliyev Baku Oil Refinery in Azerbaijan

Instrument/Electrical QA/QC Inspector (QAE) checks and guarantees that certificates are prepared and duly collected; moreover, QAE promotes any necessary action to ensure that the final dossier is ready and completed as per contract requirements.

Duties and responsibilities

Check the completion of the Instrument/ Electrical works for accuracy;
Perform inspections and sign the certificates as per relevant discipline Test Plan (ITP);
Perform inspections and sign the certificates as per relevant discipline ITP
Raise Non-Conformances in case of work not as per technical specifications;
Quality inspections of instrument/ electrical activities as per standards and specifications;
Review and preparation of red mark-up drawings and documentation;
Maintaining status and records of certification.
Person Specification

Knowledge & Qualifications

University Degree or Diploma in relevant discipline or equivalent
Experience

Relevant experience in construction/modernisation of oil & gas /industrial sector/ EPC projects large refinery plants;
At least 3 years of experience in the specific discipline;
Similar role covered in last three projects, of comparable size;
Experience working on Contractor side.

Native Azerbaijani speaker;
Fluent English;
Excellent IT and analytical skills;
Attention to detail, excellent communications skills;
Strong interpersonal, team-oriented skills, self-motivation and direction, with strong bias toward timely performance and problem resolution.
