Gas Plant Operator
Our major client, in the Oil & Gas industry, is seeking a Plant Operator to work within their facilities located in Evanston, WY for a 12-month assignment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work in a safe manner adhering to all safety practices, procedures and policies
- Perform operator and maintenance tasks related to the operation of a gas processing plant
- Support mechanical, instrumentation and control activities associated with compressors, amine systems, cryogenic plants and measurement systems to ensure balances are within the established limits
- Ensure that facilities are operating in a reliable, safe, and efficient manner with company guidelines
- Role could include participation in data gathering, reporting functions, plant start-ups and shut-downs, and maintenance tasks
- Maintain good communication with supervision, and all members of field plant and maintenance employees, and contractors
- Work irregular hours, outside, and around heavy equipment, and in variable environmental conditions
- Monitor, maintain, and operate safety and fire protection systems
- Perform good housekeeping duties as required
- Accomplish job responsibilities/duties in accordance with company values
Required Skills:
- The ideal candidate for this position should possess the following minimum qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Working knowledge of the oil and gas industry
- Minimum 1 year gas processing plant operations experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team focused environment
- Possess basic computer skills
